The Birthday Room

Two of the things Benjamin Hunter received for his twelfth birthday took him completely by surprise: a room and a letter. The room was from his parents. The letter was from his uncle.

Ben doesn’t remember his uncle, and no one in his family ever talks about him. All Ben knows is that a long time ago there was a terrible accident, and now his mother bears a deep grudge. But now, could his mother forget the past long enough to take Ben on a journey that could change their family for good?
